About us
Sheridan’s Irish Pub, located in the heart of historic downtown Smyrna, Delaware, was established in 2005 by Joe and Shirley Sheridan. The building is an original 1870 establishment that offers traditional charm and is a cozy, family-friendly restaurant right in the middle of town.
In 2025, two cousins, Jennifer Sutter and Robert Duffy, took over ownership and chose to keep the Sheridan’s name since it was a place that they often frequented with fond memories. The pub has been a town staple for over 20 years. Even though Jen and Rob come from the Duffy clan, they want to keep the tradition of a local gathering space.
We offer a large menu of traditional Irish Food, Premium Whiskeys, Craft Beers and all your favorite spirits! We offer specials and happy hour treats to help wind down from a long day or just give you an excuse not to cook.
Sheridan’s Irish pub has multiple seating areas to accommodate any size crowd; Main restaurant, Bar area, a three season Deck on the upper level and an outside patio that is dog friendly. We host private parties, offer live music, DJs, trivia and specialty events, and of course, our annual St. Patrick’s Day bash.
